Qasim Mithani
Qasim built developer and security products in the early days of AWS. Then he joined Databricks as an early leader, where he built the infrastructure and enterprise platform from the ground up.
Andrea Michi
Andrea was a Research Engineering Lead at Google DeepMind where he worked on reinforcement learning for Gemini, AlphaDev and other impactful projects, publishing his work in leading publications such as Nature.

Be Kind and Candid
Kindness means treating each other as whole people first. We care deeply about each other and hold each other to a high standard. Those are not in tension; they are what make a high-performing team possible.
The candid half comes from the same place. We push hard on each other’s thinking because we respect each other enough to be straight, and we keep it about the idea and never the person.
Find a Way Through
Hitting a wall is built into what we do, it’s the nature of pioneering. We started on a bet about how this world would change, and staying ahead of it means building routes that don’t exist yet.
We often contend with the tension between speed and depth. We are always looking for a way to pragmatically cut unneeded requirements so we can ship the right solution fast.
Bias to Action
Urgency matters. If something meaningful can be shipped, decided, or unblocked today, we do not let it wait for tomorrow.
We prefer small, high-quality steps that create momentum over large plans that sit untouched. But speed and quality are not mutually exclusive and good judgment understands the right trade off
Raise the Bar
The caliber of the people around you is the one thing we will never trade away, however badly we need the extra hands. The same standard applies to our work. We move fast, but we never lower our ambition. We look for people with an intrinsic drive for excellence, people who want to win because that is who they are, not because they need the perfect reward structure.
