Moveworks was already using AI in engineering, but in security, the team was still facing an older problem: static analyzers that could scan code, but struggled to understand enough context to know what actually mattered.
Traditional tools were built around rules and syntax trees. They could detect patterns, but did not have context on data flow, application behavior, dependencies, and infrastructure. That left security teams with more triage and engineers with findings that still required too much interpretation.
So Moveworks asked a practical question: if AI could help engineering, could it also make static analysis more accurate, contextual, and useful?
In this webinar, Damian Hasse, CISO at Moveworks, joins depthfirst to share how his team explored that question. He’ll walk through the original problem, the broader risks Moveworks cared about, the evaluation process, and why depthfirst stood out from other options.
Damian will also discuss what changed after adoption, what looks different in today’s threat environment, and how security leaders should think about build vs. buy decisions as AI becomes part of the security toolbox.
